Zain Javadd Malik  :( 12 January 1993),  known mononymously as   Zayn , is an English singer and songwriter. Born and raised in  Bradford , West Yorkshire, Malik auditioned as a solo contestant for the British music competition  The X Factor  in 2010. After being eliminated as a solo performer, Malik was brought back into the competition, along with four other contestants, to form the  boy band  that would later be known as  One Direction . Malik left the group in March 2015 and subsequently signed a solo recording contract with  RCA Records . That's it for today . Adiós ,see you next time.

Here is my Tribute to one of the greatest band with maximum number of hits and greatest fan following " ONE DIRECTION "  One Direction  is a British-Irish pop boy band consisting of  Harry Styles ,  Liam Payne ,  Louis Tomlinson , and  Niall Horan.   Zayn Malik  exited the band in March 2015. They were solo contestants placed into a group during the seventh season of  The X Factor  UK in 2010, where they finished in third place. The group was subsequently signed to  Simon Cowell 's record label,  Syco Music . After releasing five best-selling albums between 2011 and 2015, the band announced an indefinite hiatus, beginning December 2015. By May 2017, all members had released solo material.
